As a follow-up to last year's executive meetings, we will take you through the developments in our sector during this Vision & Ambition Session: where we stand and what is coming, in the development in and opportunities for the region and we will take a first step to get started with cross-overs. Rob Frijns, Vice President R&D at NXP, will take us through the perspective of NXP in the integrated circuits (ICs) market. Captain of Science at Holland High Tech, professor Guus Rijnders, will give his perspective on cross-overs. We will then collect the input from the executives present in an interactive setting.

As Holland High Tech, top sector High Tech Systems & Materials, we look to the future: to the transitions, innovations that contribute to this and the opportunities for our sector.

The Netherlands benefits from a strong ecosystem of leading companies and knowledge institutions in the field of semiconductor technology and chip design. As this ecosystem continues to strengthen the value chain and control points, it is time to explore the opportunities and crossovers of this strong ecosystem with emerging key technologies such as quantum, integrated photonics and heterogeneous integration.
