The PPP Innovation 2024 TKI Energy and Industry is intended for projects that work on an affordable transition to a sustainable (climate-neutral and circular) industry. Research organizations and private parties that collaborate in research and development can submit their innovation project proposal to TKI Energy and Industry. There is 5.8 million euros available for this call with a term of up to three years.
The PPP Innovation scheme of TKI Energy and Industry in brief
- Total amount available: 5.8 million euros
- Must fit within the following innovation themes: process innovation through electrification and chain innovations, sustainable raw materials and intermediate products based on CO and CO2
- Consortium consists of: at least 2 entrepreneurs, of which 1 SME and 1 end user, and a research organization
- Duration: maximum 3 years
- Subsidy: per project min €400K, max €1,000K
- A participant may not incur more than 70% of the costs and each participant separately incurs at least 10% of the costs
- Maximum subsidy percentages:
- FO: maximum 80%
- IO: maximum 50%
- EO: maximum 25%
- Surcharge possible for an SME of 10% for IO and 15% for EO
Objective and eligible innovation themes
The objective of this scheme is to stimulate research and development projects on the innovation themes mentioned below that will lead to a first application by 2034 (within 10 years) and contribute to an affordable transition to a sustainable (climate-neutral and circular) industry that is integrated in the energy system.
The eligible innovation themes are:
- Innovationtheme 1: Process innovation through electrification and chain innovations
- Innovationtheme 2: Sustainable raw materials and intermediate products based on CO and CO2
