NWO and Battery Competence Cluster NL (BCC-NL) invite interested parties in the NGF call 'Technology development for circular batteries' to this online meeting on April 14.

There will be an explanation and there is room to ask questions. This information meeting is online from 13:00 to 14:00 via Teams. The language of this meeting is English.

About the call
Batteries are currently often produced with scarce materials, or materials that are difficult to reuse. Current battery systems also do not meet the needs of the power grid. This call is aimed at developing key technologies in various parts of the battery. In addition to the environmental impact, this can also create a lot of economic impact. There are three program lines within this call:

1. Recovery of materials from lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.
2. Development of sodium-ion batteries.
3. Development of bulk battery technologies suitable for Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES).
