SME in the lead in determining research
In this call, we give the high-tech SME the lead in determining the direction of a research. As an entrepreneur, you determine which industrial research supports the wishes and needs of your company for research and innovation. This in the form of industrial research activities that are jointly carried out by an SME (or a consortium of SMEs) in collaboration with a research organization. The SME itself receives a subsidy. Holland High Tech can provide support in finding suitable collaboration partners so that consortia between an SME and a research organization can be formed.

Submission of project proposals
We work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, with a maximum of 25 project proposals. This scheme has a phased submission in two parts. Phase 1 consists of a short project proposal with appendices. If 25 project proposals have been submitted, the possibility to submit will close prematurely. The projects will be assessed by an evaluation committee of independent experts. A maximum of 11 project proposals with a positive recommendation will be asked to submit a full project plan and budget in phase 2. If an applicant is selected to submit a detailed project plan, the chance of being awarded is very likely. If a project application is rejected during phase 2, the next consortium on the list will be asked to submit a full project plan and budget.
