Innovation Mission ‘Future of Compute’ in the United Kingdom
From November 10 to 13, 2025, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), in collaboration with the Innovation Attaché Network in London, is organizing an innovation mission to the United Kingdom. The mission targets Dutch companies and knowledge institutions active in artificial intelligence (AI), integrated photonics, and/or neuromorphic computing. The mission is supported by Topsector ICT, Holland High Tech, AIC4NL, and PhotonDelta.
For whom
This mission is open to Dutch companies (including large industry and SMEs) and knowledge institutions active in AI, integrated photonics, or neuromorphic computing. Participation is welcomed from stakeholders across the entire value chain, from materials and hardware to algorithms and applications. End users are also able to join.
Participation and costs
The participation fee is €250 per person (excluding VAT). This includes:
- access to the collective program
- transfers to and from all program components
- lunches and dinners if specified in the program
Travel, accommodation, and other personal expenses are not included.
Registration
Deadline for registration: Friday, September 12, 2025
Please note: participation is only final upon confirmation by RVO. Final acceptance depends on the number of available places and how well your profile fits within the mission’s scope and objectives.
Why participate
To further develop the future of compute, close collaboration in AI, integrated photonics, and neuromorphic computing is essential. Shared objectives, knowledge exchange, a common language, and co-design of complementary hardware and software are key. This mission facilitates conversations both within and across the three domains. Tangible outcomes may include:
- exploring potential use cases
- developing demonstrators
- strengthening industry involvement
- identifying partnerships for Horizon Europe or Eureka projects
- the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
Responsible Business Conduct
Participants are expected to comply with the OECD Guidelines for International Responsible Business Conduct (IRBC). If you have not yet completed the IRBC self-assessment, you will be asked to do so upon registration.
