Session: The impact of robotics on the production process
On Wednesday 24 September, Stichting Smart Industry and Breda Robotics are organising an in-depth afternoon session on robotics. This is the perfect opportunity to learn from experts how innovations such as the use of robots, cobots and production automation contribute to the future resilience of organisations in the manufacturing industry.
What to expect?
This session offers entrepreneurs, production managers and digitalisation leads from the SME manufacturing industry practical insights and inspiring real-life examples. The emphasis is on applicability and creating value through the use of robotic technology in day-to-day operations.
Programme
- 12:30 – Walk-in with lunch
- 13:00 – Opening by Breda Robotics and Stichting Smart Industry
- 13:15 – In-depth presentations and discussions:
Daniel Telgen, CBoost and former professor at Avans University of Applied Sciences – “We step in when technology needs brains”
Teun Jansen, TeleOperation Service – demonstrates the added value of deploying cobots for post-processing of metal and plastics
Tommy Hofkens, Roboflex – shows various robotics and automation solutions within the manufacturing industry
Ties van Bruinessen, Robohouse – presents several projects and explains how different sectors are addressing innovation and robotics in their operations
