Today, no fewer than 39 regional partnerships received the news that their proposals for the Techkwadraat subsidy scheme have been approved. This means that schools, businesses and extracurricular organisations in these regions will spend the next three school years working on innovative and inspiring technology education for all students.

Very good news that this funding will allow many more students to get acquainted with technology. And it’s so important, because quality technology education also helps students improve their basic skills in language, maths and digital literacy. This way, we enhance the future prospects of all children and young people. And more knowledge of technology strengthens the competitiveness and earning power of society as a whole.
