Through TechBridge, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) supports Dutch companies and knowledge institutions in developing key technologies in an international context. The scheme focuses on joint R&D projects with partners from other innovative economies, working on new products, processes, and services.
TechBridge is specifically designed to accelerate the implementation of technologies from the National Technology Strategy (NTS). These key enabling technologies form the basis for the future earning capacity of the Netherlands and contribute to solutions for societal challenges, such as the energy transition and digitalization. By stimulating international cooperation, TechBridge helps to connect knowledge, innovative capacity, and market opportunities across national borders.
The aim of the scheme is to bring market-oriented innovation projects to fruition more quickly. In doing so, Dutch parties work in consortia with foreign partners, with each country providing its own subsidy.
