With the digital revolution in full swing, this deficit poses a serious challenge to the growth and sustainability of businesses worldwide. In 2022, the European Labour Authority (ELA) reported that The Netherlands had the third-highest total skills shortage in Europe.

Generative AI technologies to empower professionals

This project addresses the challenge of knowledge personnel scarcity in high-tech by exploiting the recent advancements in Generative AI technologies to empower (not replace) professionals in getting from data to insights and democratize access to company or domain specific knowledge. In this context, the project delves into innovative strategies for collecting, processing, and accessing of domain specific information, aiming to offer generic AI driven solutions for automation, relevant to multiple companies in the high-tech sector.

Validation through case studies

The feasibility and added value of research will be validated through application on use case studies from the medical system and software development domain, done in collaboration with Philips IGT.
