This summer, researchers from universities and universities of applied sciences, TO2 institutions, companies and civil society organisations that would like to work in consortia on technological innovation and societal impact can once again submit proposals to the Perspectief programme. The new round of this funding instrument is expected to open in July.
Perspectief is a Dutch Research Council (NWO) programme funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. The programme challenges researchers to work in close collaboration with industry and civil society organisations on technological innovation with societal impact and the creation of economic opportunities in the Netherlands. The research projects focus on major societal challenges and key enabling technologies, thereby making a contribution to the Mission-Driven Top Sectors and Innovation Policy of the Dutch government.
Each research project will be allocated a budget of between 1.5 and 4.0 million euros. Projects awarded funding will be realised in broad consortia for a maximum running period of six years. In the previous round, seven projects were awarded funding.
