The diversity of good people is much needed
FME will put diversity, equality and inclusion on the agenda and boost it in the technological manufacturing industry. This by making good examples visible and offering action perspectives for the FME members. We will also encourage members to sign the SER Charter. There is still a lot to gain within the sector. There is a great demand for personnel and the diversity of good people is much needed. Theo Henriar. “The technology industry is a very relevant sector that makes an important contribution to societal challenges such as the energy transition,” he says. “We therefore want to be an attractive sector for everyone to work in, in which every individual feels safe, welcome and respected. We do not want people to remain on the sidelines, because at the moment there are still too many groups underrepresented in our sector. That is a missed opportunity, and it really needs to change. We really need everyone to succeed, also when you look at the societal challenges we face.”
