The High Tech industry in the Netherlands has few women in technical positions (14%): just like Germany. Holland High Tech will pay specific attention to this subject in 2023, because studies show that varied teams are more innovative and successful, but this also leads to greater job satisfaction. One of the activities is a Dutch-German session: Women in Tech, on the first day of Hannover Messe. This will take place on April 17, 2023.

More women in tech

During the session we will discuss, among other things, the need for more women in technology. Also how we can achieve this and what is needed to retain women, with, among others, Marc Hendrikse and Jacquelien Scherpen (HTSM), Theo Henrar (FME) and Helen Kardan (ASML and figurehead D&I for FME). Since Germany faces similar issues as the Netherlands when it comes to women in technology, we hope to learn from and inspire each other. With Hannover Messe as the starting point for Dutch-German cooperation.
