Cybersecurity is a low priority for many small businesses. A third of them don't take any measures to protect themselves against cyberattacks. To help entrepreneurs implement cybersecurity measures, the "CyberVeilig Check" for the self-employed and SMEs has been launched. For small businesses experiencing financial hardship, the temporary "Mijn cyberweerbare zaak" subsidy program is available.

"Mijn Cyberweerbare Zaak" in short

  • For entrepreneurs with 1 to 50 employees and an annual turnover of up to €10 million.
  • This subsidy can be applied for a substantial number of basic measures within the Cyber ​​Security Check.
  • 50% of the purchase price and/or implementation costs, up to a maximum of €1,250.
  • Applications must be submitted until 5:00 PM on Friday 31 October 2025, and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum budget of €1 million is reached.
