On May 21, the first edition of the international hydrogen guide 2025 was officially launched. This fifth edition introduces the Dutch hydrogen sector to an international audience. The launch took place in Ahoy Rotterdam, during the World Hydrogen Summit. During this three-day event, the domestic and international hydrogen sector meets for knowledge and inspiration.

The launch of the guide took place during the networking reception at the NL Pavilion on the exhibition floor. Various organisations involved in the guide made a valuable contribution – as if it were a puzzle to which everyone contributed a piece. Hydrogen Guide 2025: 'Excelling in Hydrogen: Solutions for a Sustainable World'
This English-language export guide for the hydrogen sector contains:
- the latest developments in the field of hydrogen in the Netherlands;
- a visualisation of the hydrogen value chain;
- more than 270 company profiles.
In order to bring the Dutch hydrogen sector to international attention, we also distribute the guide among the international network of the Dutch government. This edition focuses more on hydrogen infrastructure and the importance of hydrogen import. Extra attention is paid to earning capacity and energy security, as well as to the greater role of blue hydrogen. The hydrogen guide is the result of a public-private partnership within the trade promotion program International Clean Energy Partnership (ICEP) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was compiled by RVO, FME and Top Sector Energy (TKI Nieuw Gas).
