On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is conducting the Thematic Technology Transfer (TTT) tender. Suppose your research organization is collaborating with other research organizations on a specific theme. You are doing this to join forces and transfer knowledge about this theme to knowledge start-ups. You also want to invest in a knowledge start-up that utilizes the knowledge of research organizations working on this same theme. Then the Thematic Technology Transfer (TTT) program might be of interest to you.
This tender is specifically for applications related to dual-use and defense themes. Applications must address at least two of the National Long-term Defense Themes (NLD):
- Smart materials
- Space technology
- Quantumtechnology
- Intelligent systems
- Sensors
Applications that are wholly or partially focused on themes other than the 5 NLD themes are excluded from the Defence TTT tender.
2 pillars

- Joining forces for knowledge transfer: The aim of pillar 1 is for research organisations to join forces for a thematic focus on knowledge transfer.
- Risk financing for start-ups: The aim of Pillar 2 is to increase the availability of risk financing for knowledge start-ups within the Pillar 1 theme.
