On 16 December 2025, NWO is organizing an online information meeting about the KIC call Robust and Resilient Space Infrastructure for a Safe Netherlands. During this online meeting, participants will receive more information about the call and the submission process. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions. 

Space technology plays an important role in our daily lives. It supports processes such as electricity supply, internet connections, drinking water supply and payment systems. This dependence on space technology also makes the Netherlands and the EU vulnerable. Geopolitical tensions make it increasingly easy to inspect, damage, hijack or destroy space systems. This call therefore aims to stimulate new research into robust, secure and strategically deployable space technologies. In addition, the programme focuses on maintaining and strengthening the Netherlands' technological and scientific capacity within the space domain.

For whom

This call invites knowledge institutions, industry, and societal partners to form a consortium for research to strengthening a robust and resilient space infrastructure for a secure Netherlands.
