In the rapidly evolving digital world, the security of our networks and information systems is vital. To ensure this security, the European Union has introduced the revised Network and Information Systems Directive 2022/0383, also known as "NIS2." NIS2 brings significant changes from the original NIS directive and emphasizes strengthening digital security in Europe. NIS2 will take effect in October 2024, so there are only a few months left to make sure your organization is ready!

This annual Cyber Security Event, organized by Claranet and the Cyber Resilience Center Brainport is this year dedicated to "NIS2 - six months to go!". The focus is on two important, but mostly understudied, NIS2 topics: Chain Responsibility and OT Security. Both of these topics are important for the (manufacturing) industry, one of the industries specifically mentioned in the NIS2 guideline, therefore it is important that both topics are included in cyber resilience.
