In the coming period, three working groups will start around themes on which Exceed either wants to define experiments or otherwise want to build on. The first insights and ideas obtained by these working groups will be presented to participants on 26 September. This concerns the following themes:

• rule-free or rule-free environments;
• longer-term financing of labs;
• knowledge transfer between and about experimental environments.
