SIA Congress 2024: The Compass of Practice-Oriented Research

The conference will discuss what drives practice-oriented research. Why is what is done? How can practice-oriented research make an impact and optimally contribute to solving social issues? What ethical issues can arise and how can they be dealt with? These are relevant and topical questions for everyone involved in practice-oriented research.
This year, the SIA conference is once again the event for everyone with a passion for practice-oriented research. It offers an opportunity to gain knowledge, share insights, meet new and familiar people, vote for the RAAK award and more.
Lines of sub-sessions The conference programme will be structured along three lines:
- Personal compass: personal motivations in practice-oriented research
- Ethical compass: issues and considerations in practice-oriented research
- Compass in practice: how to stay on course when conducting practice-oriented research and how to ensure that the research has the desired impact, even if things change along the way.
