50 Dutch innovative growth companies will go to the largest tech fair in the world, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, together with Minister Dirk Beljaarts of Economic Affairs from 7 to 10 January 2025.
The CES is the annual meeting place for more than 150,000 companies, professionals and investors from around 150 countries. The event fits in with the government's objective to stimulate innovation and to provide extra support to start-ups and scale-ups in particular in their growth and in finding suitable financing.
The CES is increasingly less about gadgets and more about innovations that shape our future. For example in the field of energy transition, cybersecurity and healthcare. Themes that fit in with the national technology strategy and where the market has been identified as promising for growth.

The CES is the global stage for innovative companies. Here they present their solutions, both to the general public and to investors. At the upcoming CES, I will be joining fifty innovative Dutch companies to draw attention to all the wonderful technological solutions that Dutch entrepreneurs have to offer. We are doing this because we see that Dutch growth companies sometimes have difficulty gaining a foothold when they enter the international market. The CES participation is an important support in their back to be able to scale up.
The participants
The participating Dutch growth companies come from all over the country and are active in various sectors such as the circular economy, cybersecurity and sustainable mobility. Veridis is developing a technology to analyse various types of plastics for suitability for recycling on an industrial scale. DuckDuckGoose has developed a method for detecting ‘deep fakes’ to prevent identity fraud. E-Magy is building a new generation of batteries for electric vehicles.
