Researchers from universities and colleges, TO2 institutions, companies and social organisations who aim to work in consortia on technological innovation with social impact can NOW submit proposals to Perspectief. The new round of this NWO funding is now open. Deadline for letters of intent is October 11, 2022.
Innovation that has an economic and social impact often requires a large-scale approach. Developing new technology requires setting up new lines of research, transcending old networks and creating close collaboration between scientists and industry.
Perspectief focuses on stimulating this collaboration in order to solve innovation bottlenecks.
Perspectief
Perspectief is a Dutch Research Council (NWO) programme funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. The programme challenges researchers to work in close collaboration with industry and civil society organisations on technological innovation with societal impact and the creation of economic opportunities in the Netherlands. The research projects focus on major societal challenges and key enabling technologies, thereby making a contribution to the Mission-Driven Top Sectors and Innovation Policy of the Dutch government.
The overall grant ceiling for this call is € 25.545.940. Each research project will be allocated a budget of between 1.5 and 4.0 million euros. Projects awarded funding will be realised in broad consortia for a maximum running period of six years. In the previous round, seven projects were awarded funding.
