Our partner Brainport Industries Campus is working on new Industry 4.0 standards and techniques that should make working via the cloud, sharing data with customers and making machines smarter easier. The industry standards are becoming more mature and in many cases can already be applied in concrete terms at companies in the manufacturing industry. But how do you go about that?

In the Smart Industry table discussion on 8 July, a number of stakeholders discussed the central question: How can you join a smart factory in a digitally connected chain? What steps should I take? Matthijs Punter of TNO talked to experts Peter van Harten (Smart Industry ambassador in Germany), Mike de Roode (Consultant Data Ecosystems, TNO) and Dirk van Driel (owner DMSS).
