The outlook for the Future of Vocational Education, Higher Education and Science has started. The central question in this is whether the organization of further education and science is sufficiently in line with the demand of students, the labor market, the research field and society in 2040. Attention is also paid to the connection between MBO, higher education and research.

Four meetings will take place in March: open discussions with room for new and creative ideas. There is also an online panel. A final report will follow in June. It contains options for future policy. Robbert Dijkgraaf, Minister of Education, Culture and Science, will take a close look at this and will give his response in the autumn.
