The sixth edition of the HeroFestival took place on June 8, a co-creation of HortiHeroes and RoboCrops. In the anniversary year of HortiHeroes (which has existed for five years), the Food & Flower industry came together at the brand new De Titaan location in The Hague for a good dose of inspiration, innovation and connection. The more than 150 guests represented all important stakeholders in the sector: entrepreneurs, young talent, investors, students, startups and innovation accelerators. With speakers from inside and outside the Food & Flower industry, there was a packed and inspiring program under the theme REFRESH Y//OUR SYSTEM. Traditionally, the participants of the HortiHeroes Intrapreneurship Program also took the stage to pitch the startups they have set up in recent weeks. Startup Reduce Your Use emerged as the winner and took home €7,500 for the further development of their innovation.
This is a Network Activity aimed at promoting networking and knowledge sharing between SMEs through the MIT scheme of Holland High Tech in collaboration with FME.
