Connection between Dutch and Brazilian parties

The aviation cluster in Brazil is built around Embraer, the 3rd largest aircraft manufacturer in the world. In the field of sustainable aviation, Embraer focuses on battery-electric flying, hybrid flying and flying on hydrogen.

The Dutch aviation ecosystem and related parties can make a valuable contribution to the development of this new generation of aircraft. The innovations also contribute to the earning capacity of the Netherlands. The connection between Dutch and Brazilian parties is of great importance in this respect. Embraer-X, the innovation department, also has an office at TU Delft.

The Department of Defense recently announced its intention to acquire transport aircraft from Embraer. Thanks to participation in this innovation mission, Dutch parties can become involved in the further development and equipment of these aircraft.
