Professor Jacquelien Scherpen, University of Groningen, is one of the three finalists for the Prins Friso Engineering award 2023. Jacquelien Scherpen is also part of the top team of Holland High Tech as captain of science.

In addition to the jury prize, there is also a audience award. For this Audience award, everyone can vote for one of the three nominees from 14 February to 13 March. This year, all three nominees are women. On March 15, during the Day of the Engineer, the winner will be announced. Princess Beatrix and Princess Mabel are also present.
