Marc Hendrikse, figurehead of Holland High Tech, will be the new chairman of the Board of the DAF Museum as of 1 September. He succeeds Geert Vermeer, who has decided to leave the DAF Museum after 10 years.
About Marc Hendrikse
After his studies at Delft University of Technology, Marc Hendrikse joined DAF in 1985, where he held various positions within Marketing & Sales at home and abroad. In 1990 he switched to coach manufacturer BOVA, where he joined the management two years later. From 2005 to 2020 he worked in the high-tech industry as general manager of NTS.
Marc Hendrikse, as the figurehead of the Top Sector 'High Tech Systems and Materials', supports innovation projects to achieve emission-free trucks. He is also chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fontys, chairman of the Board of the Mikrocentrum and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Brainport. In addition, Marc Hendrikse is a supervisory director at the parent company of Truckland, one of the largest DAF dealers in the Netherlands.
