Physics with Industry, November 20 to November 24, is a workshop that focuses on coming up with innovative solutions for scientifically challenging, commercial business cases. You can submit a company case until May 12. Registration for participants will open in August.
Purpose
The aim is to stimulate cooperation and knowledge exchange between science and industry. For a week, scientists and researchers from both academia and industry work closely together to find original solutions to challenging industrial problems.
The teams consist of PhD students and postdocs from research institutes and universities across the Netherlands. Each team has access to a company representative and senior researcher to ensure progress and scientific quality.
For participants
During this workshop you will become acquainted with the industry by working on a business case. Together with the company, you go over the problem and you work with your team to find a solution. By collaborating with other researchers from different disciplines, you expand your network and experience working within a team with a common mission. Participation is free, including the lunches and dinners mentioned in the program. Registration for this workshop will open in August 2023.
