From 22 May, the new subsidy round of the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for the Circular Economy has been opened for the development of circular products, services and processes. A total of 2.5 million euros in support is available for developments within the manufacturing industry, construction and consumer goods. An information meeting will be held on June 1.
We currently consume far more raw materials than the earth can produce. This is not sustainable in the long term, which is why we must make the transition to a circular economy in which raw materials are used and reused optimally. The Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for the Circular Economy (KIA-CE) stimulates the development of knowledge and innovation that is necessary to achieve a circular economy. One of the resources for this is the KIA-CE subsidy scheme.
2.5 million for circular manufacturing industry, construction and consumer goods
The third tender of this scheme was opened between 22 May and 7 September. In total, a budget of 2.5 million euros is available for the development of circular products, processes and/or services for applications in construction, the manufacturing industry or for consumer goods. This involves technological research and development of new or greatly improved products, services and processes and research into consumer behaviour, business or revenue models.
Information and matchmaking meeting
An information meeting will be held in Amersfoort on 1 June in which the rules and conditions of the subsidy scheme are explained and in which the participants can have their project idea tested. The meeting is also a great opportunity to develop partnerships with other companies and research institutions.
