In December 19, Frank Jansen's farewell reception as Managing Director of NAG took place in The Hague. During the reception, we looked back at the early days of NAG and the highlights that – under Frank's 24 years of leadership – have led to progress in international cooperation, industrial policy, government partnerships, developments in industrial strategies, insights into Dutch industry, competitiveness and global missions.

An ecosystem can only thrive when government, industry and research institutions come together”, said Frank Jansen.

Lex Besselink (chairman of NAG) also spoke about Frank's many achievements and how highly he was valued as a manager by his team and the wider community.

As a token of appreciation, Frank received a book with messages and photos from more than 100 people within the Dutch aviation community.

Frank shared some final words of wisdom, saying: “As a manager, led by example and remember: if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, you have to work together.”

Frank's successor, the new director Paul Eijssen expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm, saying: “I am truly honored to become your successor and I look forward to this opportunity with great excitement”.

Leo Warmerdam (Director Holland High Tech) personally presented Frank with a 'token of appreciation' for his years of dedication to our top sector.
