On September 23, the Energy Transition Working Group was officially launched, bringing together 45 representatives from leading companies, research institutes and the Dutch and French governments to strengthen collaboration on innovation in this crucial sector.
The discussions focused on three key areas of the energy transition:
- Nuclear innovation
- Low-carbon hydrogen
- Offshore wind
The meeting, chaired by Harry Talen, CEO of Engie Netherlands, took place at the residence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France, hosted by Ambassador Jan Versteeg. This session provided ambitious goals for the working group’s subcommittees, aimed at stimulating joint innovations and sharing expertise between the Netherlands and France.
