Within the National Growth Fund (NGF) Quantum Technology program that NWO implements in collaboration with Quantum Delta NL, a total of almost 10.4 million euros has been allocated to 19 projects with a duration of 5 years (2023-2028).

10.4 million euros is available in this second round. NWO uses the integral cost system, as in all programs of the National Growth Fund: NWO therefore reimburses the full costs of the staff to be appointed. Researchers can submit applications for projects for one PhD student or one postdoc position that will be completed by December 2028. For efficiency reasons, the 2023 and 2024 calls have been combined into one round. So there will be no call in 2024.
Purpose
The goal of NWO and Quantum Delta NL is to realize much-needed scientific and technological breakthroughs in the field of quantum technology. Quantum Delta NL has reserved a total of 42 million euros for the 'research and innovation' action line, over a period of seven years. The aim is to strengthen and strengthen the scientific basis of quantum technology.
