Event News International Smart Industry SME innovation Key enabling technologies Digitalisation & Smart Industry Valorisation & Market creation

Last week, the VDL Experience Center was the place to be for the preview of the Hannover Messe 2025. Chairman Peter Stolk gave a keynote about the NL Pavillion on behalf of the four top sectors: High Tech Systems and Materials, Chemistry, Energy and ICT. There was also an inspiring keynote by Hugh Adsett, Ambassador of Canada to the Netherlands, to give more substance to the collaboration with partner country Canada. The preview was opened by Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director Trade Fair Hannover Messe, Deutsche Messe AG. Registration for the NL Pavillion is possible until 14 February 2025.

Peter Stolk, chairman of Holland High Tech:

The Netherlands is a good example of an innovation ecosystem where start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs, large companies, knowledge institutions and government work together. Together we create the (key) technologies and digital systems that industry and society depend on. Whether it concerns integrated chips and the machines that produce them, electrolysers that enable hydrogen production for industry, fuel cells and batteries that are used in sustainable mobility, lightweight composites, digital systems on which all this technology runs or quantum technology that will keep us safe. Our ecosystem ensures a sustainable, innovative industry worldwide, now and in the future. We present this innovation ecosystem during the Hannover Messe. During the Hannover Messe we present this innovative ecosystem to Germany, partner country Canada and the rest of the world.

Hugh Adsett, Ambassador of Canada to the Netherlands:

Hannover Messe is a perfect platform to present Canadian innovations and to enter into new collaborations with the EU. Canadian exhibitors will showcase technologies in the areas of artificial intelligence, photonics, automation, clean technology, hydrogen and robotics.

Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director Trade Fair Hannover Messe:

From the digitalization of complex production processes, the use of hydrogen to operate entire production facilities, to the application of AI to optimize production processes, Hannover Messe presents an integrated picture of the technological possibilities for the industry of today and tomorrow. The focus is on the interaction of robotics, artificial intelligence, drive technologies, renewable energies and hydrogen.

HM2025

The Netherlands is organizing the NL Pavilion with many partners with the theme: Together for a smart and sustainable future. This year we are joining forces and startups, scaleups and established SMEs will be together in an NL Pavilion in Hall 8. Here the entire ecosystem comes together within 200 square meters. This promotes collaboration, stimulates innovation and creates exciting opportunities for cross-sector collaborations. In addition, by sharing the same space, startups and SMEs can learn from each other, exchange ideas and forge valuable connections.
