In high-tech industry, system requirements include increasingly stringent dynamical performance. Therefore, high-accuracy simulation models are paramount for designing and improvements such high-tech systems. In addition, experimental techniques to check the performance of such systems are needed. Till now, such measurements are seldomly used to update computer dynamical models.

The goal of this project is to develop methods for optimal validation and update of dynamical models to match reality as good as possible, within the context of classical experimental modal analysis, e.g. analyses of the dynamic behaviour and formation of unwanted vibration.
