Background

Sustainability is one of the most important trends for the 2020s. Europe wants to take a leading role in this and is preparing far-reaching legislation. We find more and more examples of this trend in the consumer market. Many companies in the manufacturing industry are still looking for ways to become more sustainable and at the same time maintain profitability. In the meantime, the forerunners have shown with inspiring examples that sustainability and profitability can indeed go hand in hand. There are even reports that sustainability can also contribute to a better image for a manufacturing company and that they therefore receive interest from the market. Sustainability is not a hype but a trend that will be anchored in legislation and that the manufacturing industry will have to make a change in this decade. With this interactive conference, The House of Technology wants to contribute to the exchange of experiences in defining and implementing sustainability projects at SME+ manufacturing companies.

This is a networking activity aimed at promoting networking and knowledge sharing between SMEs through Holland High Tech's MIT program.
