Within the first round of the KIEM HighTech 2024, 34 research projects will soon start, involving 62 companies, of which 56 are SMEs. The research projects deal with technologically-oriented innovation issues from practice. Issues relate, for example, to robotics solutions, 3D printing of silicone, fiber optic alignment, AI in Alzheimer's diagnostics, passive cooling of electronics and composite metal connections with Coldspray technology. Researchers from knowledge institutions are tackling the 34 issues.

The next submission date for the KIEM HighTech 2024 is May 21, 2024. Do you know or are you an entrepreneur or researcher for whom this scheme is interesting?

KIEM HighTech 2024

The aim of KIEM HighTech is to (exploratively) investigate new practical questions through practice-oriented research activities. These research activities are carried out by a network of knowledge institutions and practice partners (companies). With this scheme, the SIA organization encourages both network formation and the exploration of practical questions that could be a seed for a follow-up project or a technological innovation.
