This project ORANGE aims to develop an autonomous tightening cell test bed that can be applied in Semicon assembly and future disassembly. This to increase manufacturing productivity to cope with ongoing Semicon growth and labour market shortage. It will improve productivity and improve competitiveness of the whole Semicon supply chain.

This TKI project is focused on a single use case of ASML and is used to create a first version of an autonomous tightening cell in which intelligent imaging, Optomechatronics, data sharing, machine learning, digital twin and programming by CAD come together in a single manufacturing cell which can be used for further R&D for tightening use cases. With the ORANGE testbed it will be possible for suppliers to determine the required specifications, capex/opex insights and reduce investment risks.
